What is Dryland Mushing?
Dryland mushing (also known as sled dog racing) is an exhilarating dog-focused sport where dogs pull a musher on wheeled equipment such as scooters, rigs or bikes, instead of a sled. The dog or dogs, and human work together as a team, navigating dirt trails through forests and open terrain.
With sled dog racing having been established in Australia for over two decades, it has grown into a popular activity enjoyed by individuals and families alike, welcoming participants of all ages and experience levels.

We will be running the wheeled events:
– Novice (beginner/1st year class)
– Junior
– Social classes (1/2 dog touring 1/2 veteran)
– Bikejor (1 dog)
– 1 – 6 dog open
Check in: from 12pm Saturday
Drivers meeting time: Saturday 30th at 4pm – Late arrival may incur time penalties
Race start: TBA – weather dependent and will be decided closer to the event.

🔹 Heat 1 – Line Out Challenge
🔹 Heat 2 – Distractions Challenge
🔹 Heat 3 – Relay Final featuring Canicross, Bikejor and Scooter Sprint
Three disciplines. One team. All paws. All heart. ❤️🐾
Cost $30 per team
After the competition, stick around for a sausage sizzle with a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going towards a great cause.
Whether you’re competing or coming along to cheer everyone on, we’d love to see you there for an afternoon of fun, fitness, friendship, and giving back.
Feel free to camp overnight and go for a run on sunday morning 😀
